GWO certified wind turbine inspection
Our technicians hold Global Wind Organisation (GWO) certification, allowing us to deliver inspection and lifting scopes on onshore and offshore wind assets — turbine towers, nacelles, service lifts, davit cranes, hoists and fall arrest systems — under the same quality management applied to our oil and gas work.
Wind turbine NDT applies the same conventional and advanced techniques used across our offshore portfolio, carried out by PCN qualified technicians.
Offshore wind NDT scopes
Inspection is planned around turbine availability, with multi-disciplined technicians completing several scopes per visit to limit lost generation.
- Turbine structural NDT — weld, bolt and flange inspection in tower and nacelle
- Ultrasonic, magnetic particle, penetrant and eddy current inspection
- Lifting and LOLER examination of service lifts, davits, hoists and slings
- Dropped object surveys across turbine internals and externals
- Certification management with digital registers and inspection packages
Wind turbine rope access inspection
IRATA-trained technicians provide rope access inspection of towers, nacelles and external structures, avoiding heavy access equipment. Lifting scopes are covered by our lifting equipment inspection service and hazard scans by our DROPS surveys.
Reporting for renewables operators
