Rope access NDT combines industrial rope access with non-destructive testing so inspection can be carried out at height, over water and in confined areas without scaffolding, staging or extended shutdowns. Our technicians are IRATA-trained rope access operatives and all NDT technicians are PCN qualified, so a single team can access the structure and complete the examination in one visit — reducing bed space, vessel time and downtime.

Rope access inspection is well suited to flare booms, underdecks, stacked installations, tanks, towers, hulls and structural steelwork where conventional access is slow or impractical.

Offshore rope access NDT is used across jack-ups, semi-subs, platforms, drillships and FPSOs — from structural weld inspection and bolt and pin examination to crane boom and pedestal inspection. Scopes can be combined with lifting equipment inspection and DROPS surveys in the same mobilisation.

Every rope access NDT scope is delivered paper-free, with technicians equipped with tablets and reports issued online.
