Offshore NDT Inspection Services

Non-destructive testing establishes the condition of structures and components — including individual bolts, pins and welds — without taking equipment out of service. Pulse Echo Inspection delivers offshore NDT inspection across jack-ups, semi-subs, platforms, drillships, FPSOs and their machinery, as well as onshore facilities.

NDT identifies flaws early, informs maintenance planning and monitors ageing over time, supporting special periodical surveys (SPS), structural inspections and life enhancement studies.

All of our NDT technicians are PCN qualified, and many are also IRATA trained so inspection can be completed by rope access NDT where access is restricted. Multi-disciplined inspectors complete several scopes per mobilisation, reducing offshore bed space and vessel time.

From construction through to decommissioning we deliver conventional and advanced NDT, QA/QC surveys, vendor and pre-shipment inspection, pressure vessel inspection, high and low pressure piping surveys and development of inspection procedures and SOPs.

Reports are delivered paper-free with inspectors equipped with tablets, speeding up turnaround and certification management. NDT scopes are routinely combined with lifting equipment inspection and DROPS surveys.
