What a DROPS survey covers
A DROPS survey is a systematic scan of areas at height for potential falling hazards — from lost fittings and pipe clamps to ladders, hand rails, lighting and instrumentation. Our team checks all primary and secondary securings, assessing both static and dynamic dropped object risk.
A DROPS study can be run standalone or alongside any other workscope, making it efficient to combine with structural or lifting inspection during the same visit.

Where areas are difficult to reach, DROPS inspection is delivered by our IRATA-trained technicians using rope access, avoiding scaffolding and reducing downtime. Surveys are frequently combined with lifting equipment inspection and offshore NDT inspection.
